Red Dead Redemption 2 1.01 Update Fixes Companion Issues
Rockstar has released the Title Update 1.01 patch for Red Dead Redemption 2. This update has fixed some significant issues that players encountered after playing some missions. On some of those missions, players were losing the ability to communicate, and characters were missing from camp when players returned.
The patch specifically fixes an issue where Molly disappeared from the camp after the American Distillation mission. An issue where retrying a checkpoint during the mission Polite Society, Valentine Style caused multiple companions to be missing from camp reports VG247.
Other issues in missions that prevented players from speaking to companions in first person mode are fixed. The patch comes after the beta for Red Dead Online launched.
Red Dead Online has been heavily criticized, mostly due to the high-cost of updates and items in the game. Some participants in the beta claim that it costs more to go on a mission than you make at completion.
