CoD: Black Ops 4 Patch 1.05 is Live

Black Ops 4 has a new patch that has launched that brings with it a new map called Nuketown. Fans of the franchise will undoubtedly recognize that map as a classic one that has been with the franchise for a long time. For Black Ops 4, the map has some unique surprises for fans. The patch also brings stability updates to Zombies mode with over 60 fixes for crashes and other issues across all four maps.

One tidbit for Zombies is that Speed Cola has returned. Treyarch says that it will continue to prioritize overall stability above everything else in the game. A bunch of changes to gameplay balance have been made with updates to weapons across all modes. Several changes were specific to multiplayer with tweaks to the SG12 strobe light, SMGs, the Titan, and Cold Blooded.

Tweaks to Ajax have shortened the duration of the 9-Bang flash effect and reduced his accuracy with the Ballistic Shield up. Blackout mode gets a new Bowie Knife (a PS4 exclusive), and Nuketown Island has a zombie invasion underway. Blackjack’s shop has been added to the Black Market for PS4 players.

The weapon tweaks are significant and have helped speed and reduced recoil for many of the weapons. The full patch notes are available at Charlieintel.
