Flaw Prevents Fallout 76 Beta from Being Uninstalled
Fallout 76 beta players on the PC platform are not happy at all with Bethesda right now. There is some sort of issue in the game that is preventing PC gamers from uninstalling the beta of the game. Reports have turned up on Reddit and Bethesda’s forums according to VG247.
When the gamers try and uninstall the beta, the Bethesda.net Launcher opens and prompts the player to log in. Once that login process is complete when the players try to finish the uninstall they get a message that says “You do not have access to this game.”
The message also asks the player to be sure they are signed into the Bethesda.net account that is associated with the purchase of the game. When the players log in, the uninstall is still blocked.
The assumption is that once the game goes live uninstalls will be available again. The launch is on November 14, which is tomorrow if you haven’t checked a calendar today.
