Bethesda Says Switch won’t Get Fallout 76

Nintendo Switch gamers who are itching to play Fallout 76, bad news for you. Bethesda has stated that the Switch will not get the game. As for why, Bethesda’s Pete Hines simply stated bringing the game to the Switch “wasn’t doable.”

Hines does say that talking about the Switch is part of every game development chat that Bethesda’s game studios have. He says supporting the console isnt a mandate. Exactly why it wasn’t doable to bring the game to the Switch is a mystery.

This isnt the first anticipated game that Switch wont get, The Elder Scrolls Online wont be coming to the Switch either. Hines did say that the next Wolfenstein game will come to the Switch.

With many Switch gamers owning other consoles as well, the lack of Fallout 76 on the Nintendo offering wont keep most gamers from playing the game. We will be listening for more detail on why Fallout 76 won’t land on the Switch, but none is offered at this time.
