Price Details on Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Season Pass Leak
Call of Duty fans know that Black Ops 4 is set to launch on October 12. Ahead of that launch, some tidbits about the game are slipping out, including leaked pricing information. The season pass of the game will reportedly cost $49.99, the same price as season passes for previous games in the franchise reports VGR.
Something that fans wont like is that the game is tipped to need a whopping 100GB of storage space for the download. Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 is tipped to need 105GB of storage space. That means if you buy both anticipated video games, you have gobbled nearly 25% of your 1TB drive.
Gamers should be prepared to delete a bunch of content from their drives to accommodate these new games. We are hoping with game download sizes growing at such an alarming rate Sony has plans in the works to put a much larger hard drive inside its console.
We are now in the age of ten games filling up your hard drive. Interestingly the 100GB size for BO4 is for the PS4, the Xbox One version has been tipped at 42GB. It’s possible that the PS4 capacity requirement is taking into account patches and day one downloads players will need or maybe it’s just wrong. We only have a few weeks to wait to find out.
