AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2000 Series Retail Packaging Shown
It looks like AMD has a minor issue keeping their upcoming Ryzen Threadripper 2000 series details from leaking out! The latest leak comes from our friends over at VideoCardz and they have images of what is supposedly the retail packaging that will be used on AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2000 series CPUs. It looks like the YouTubers will have some issues/fun with the unboxing videos for this one!
“So you were probably thinking, AMD will reuse Threadripper 1000 packaging for the new series. Well, guess what: AMD has even bigger, fancier and sexier packing for Threadripper 2000 series.” has already shown a screenshot
The images of the box look pretty slick and hopefully it is environmentally friendly. This looks like retail packaging you’ll want to keep on the shelf for display or decoration rather than throwing away. VideoCardz has already shown a screenshot of the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX processor with 32-cores and 64-thread running at 4.1GHz, so things are about to get very interesting in the high-end desktop market!
