Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 03: Vehicle Kit Lands September 14

Nintendo has announced a new Labo kit that will be landing September 14 called the Toy-Con 03: Vehicle Kit. It’s essentially a steering wheel, throttle pedal, shifter, and another device. The kit allows gamers to build controllers to control several vehicles for software that is included.

The vehicles include a car, an airplane, and a submarine. The kit sells for $69.99 making it a bit cheaper than the robot kit and the same price as the Variety Kit that has been around for a while now. The trailer for the software and cardboard controllers shows players an idea what they can get up to with the kit.

Nintendo says a second player can use the flight stick to control a gun while the other player drives the car around. A key slips into each of the controller sections that allows players to change from one controller type to another. As for the software, the trailer appears to show that all three vehicles are used for exploring the same island environment reports Eurogamer.

There are mini games on the island with racing, target practice, giant golf, and some other games. This looks slick but knowing how rough I have been on steering wheel controllers when really into driving games, the cardboard construction makes me wonder about longevity.
