Amped Wireless R20000G High Power Dual Band Router Review
Amped Wireless – A New Name in Wireless Networking
Even though Ive seen the name Amped Wireless at the local Best Buy, Walmart, and online at Newegg, Ive never used any of their products. When you take a look at their web page, you will see tons of networking products like routers, USB adapters, antenna boosters, range extenders, and Access Points just to name a few. All of this equipment is designed to the same common requirement: To give their Amped Wireless users high-quality, long range products using advanced technology. Not an overly complicated mission, but one that many larger and more established networking companies sometimes forget. Because Amped Wireless is only about networking and not servers, or other computer hardware, all of their focus is in delivering quality user peripherals.
Turning back to the Amped R20000G Dual Band Router we have for todays review, it actually looks very good on paper. The router features Dual Low Noise, High Power 600mW 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz Amplifiers as well as two dual-band external antennas. The Amped line of networking products are designed to give users longer range performance in their network so we expect the R20000G to show us something special.
The R20000G is also powered by a powerful 620MHz internal processor designed for computing networking commands quickly and efficiently for better wired and wireless speeds.
