Dockless Nintendo Switch Lands in Japan
Nintendo fans in Japan have a new and cheaper option for the Switch game console. The lower price isnt achieved by making a device with lesser hardware, the price savings comes from the lack of a dock. Sans dock the Switch sells for about $50 less than the original model with the dock.
That’s not exactly a huge savings. That said, a $50 price cut is nice if you have all the other accessories on hand already and just need a replacement console or a second console for another member of the family. The things the cheaper console is lacking other than the dock are the AC adapter, HDMI cable, dock, and Joy-Con Controller Grip reports Destructoid.
One of the cooler things about the customizable package is that Japanese fans is that you can choose Joy-Cons and wrist straps in different colors. Color options for the Joy-Cons include black, red, blue, yellow, green, pink, and red and you can choose a different color for each side.
The wrist straps can be had in black, grey, red, blue, yellow, green, and pink. You could choose a different color for all four parts and have the most colorful Switch in the neighborhood.
