Activision Blizzard Licenses Fan Favorite Games Franchises for Sweet Toys

By

Activision Blizzard has announced that it has licensed some of its most iconic game franchises to some of the coolest toy companies in the world. This means that fans of Overwatch, Call of Duty Black Ops IIII, and Crash Bandicoot will have some new stuff to collect. Overwatch has been licensed to Hasbro with some sweet NERF products coming along with LEGO building sets. Overwatch clothing will also land from UNIQLO.

Black Ops 4 will be getting some merchandising, but we have no indication of what that will include. All Activision Blizzard says is “Design agency PowerStation Studios is bringing new creative to life thats expanding the depth and breadth of the program and supporting partners across various international markets.”

The company is also looking for additional partners to bring products based on Call of Duty World League, MLG Network, and Overwatch League to market. Whatever lands, Black Ops IIII deserves at least some NERF dart shooters based on weapons from the game.

“Since debuting at last years Licensing Expo, weve begun to successfully realize our vision of offering more value and more opportunities for our global licensing and retail partners by leveraging the blockbuster franchises that Activision and Blizzard have created and expanded over many years of dedicated development,” said Tim Kilpin, CEO and president, Activision Blizzard Consumer Products Group. “For our hundreds of millions of players around the world, were working hard to build lasting global franchises that they can connect with across game platforms and through esports and vibrant transmedia story content. We are well positioned to continue playing a leading role in shaping the future of entertainment.”
