PUBG Savage Map is Back for More Testing Until Wednesday
If you liked the Codename: Savage map during the brief time it was playable on the Closed Experimental Server (CES) in its first testing round, the map is back for a short time. Savage returned last night for some players to test before it launches officially. Testing began last night at 9 PM ET and the map will be live on the server through Wednesday, April 18 reports Gamespot.
To play the map you must have a beta key to access the CES. If you had a beta key the first time around, your key is still good for this testing round as well. You can still register for a key, but keys arent guaranteed. Changes have been made to the Savage map.
The map is now denser than it was before with new areas added to the middle and southeastern portions of the map. Other changes include grenade spawn frequency modifications and boats are less common on the map as well.
The redzone is smaller and lasts for less time in this iteration. The bluezone size will vary depending on how many players are left. A new feature has been integrated that enables the bluezone to “to calculate and adjust its waiting time based on the number of players left alive.” PUBG Corp. says that the map wont be ready to launch for a few more months.
