Blizzard Shows Off Retribution Overwatch Event

Blizzard has unveiled a new mission called Retribution that will be landing as part of the Overwatch Archives event. Retribution will step into a key moment in the lore of the game. The mission involves Genji, Moira, McCree, and Reyes trying to get into a building.

“Travel eight years into the past and join Blackwatch as they seek to capture a high-ranking member of the Talon organization,” Blizzard explains. “Fight in the streets of Venice as Genji, Moira, McCree, or Reyes (later known as Reaper) to complete the mission and unlock pieces of the past with over 100 items from last year and 60 new onesincluding highlight intros, emotes, sprays, and more.”

Thigs go wrong for the team and they fight to try and escape. All the characters are in Blackwatch costumes that are available to unlock during the game along with other cosmetic items. If you liked last year’s Uprising mode, it will also be playable during the Overwatch Archives event.

That Uprising mode is playable in Story Mode or All Heroes Mode. Story Mode retells Tracer’s first mission in King’s Row with Tracer, Mercy, Reinhardt, and Torbjorn available. The Uprising event launched April 10, only a few days from now reports Gamespot.
