LG HU80K 4K UHD Projector Series Packs 150-inch Screen Size
LG has a new projector series that it will be showing off at CES 2018 and the projector is designed to toss a very large image onto the wall while being easy to install and setup. The projector is the HU80K series and it supports 4K UHD resolution and can throw an image 150-inches without needing much space to do it.
This is one of the smallest 4K projectors on the market while still being very bright at 2,500 lumens and supporting HDR 10. The small size of the projector is thanks to the l-shaped mirrorless engine used inside. The projector is an upright unit that looks more like a canister than a normal projector.
LG integrates a pair of 7W speakers into the projector for audio without needing a soundbar. The device also supports webOS 3.5 for smart TV functionality and access to streaming services. Connectivity incudes USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and support for external devices.
Those external devices can include a keyboard and a mouse. There are some features we have no word on right now, namely cost and availability. We should learn more at CES 2018 when the show kicks off. This thing would be awesome for gaming with a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X.
