Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus Heads to Nintendo Switch
Bandai Namco has announced that a new game will be heading to the Switch and that game is a port of their Pac-Man Championship 2 Plus video game. The Plus version of the game is a revised edition of Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 and the port to the Switch will bring all the screens, modes, music, and features to the console reports Destructoid.
The game also gets an exclusive mode just for the Switch gamers out there and that is a Co-Op mode. With that mode two players can each use a Joy Con to guide Pac-Man through mazes chasing ghosts and gobbling up pellets. Another catch with this mode is that the trains of ghosts can only be eaten if the line is attacked from both ends at the same time.
This means that players must cooperate to defeat the levels. The game is said to be tricky and challenging. The players will certainly need to work together to win.
Pac-man Championship Edition 2 Plus will hit the Switch on February 22, 2018. With the increased availability for the console and cool games coming early next year, I bet lots of gamers get a Switch for Christmas.
