GTAV Red Dead Redemption 2 Missions Discovered

Red Dead Redemption fans have a way to go before the next game in the franchise lands. The Guru Team has been digging through the latest update files inside GTAV looking for any information they can glean about what’s coming up for the game.

That team has found some references to Red Dead Redemption 2 in the latest GTAV update that show secret missions that are connected to Red Dead. Some of those secret missions will even give you in-game items in Red Dead Redemption 2 when it launches.

The Guru Team has found secret missions before in GTAV, this is the team that solved the UFO mystery when mining through game files. This time out the team found references in the Doomsday Heist update that talk about a Double-Action Revolver that will be unlocked in Red Dead after the completion of a mission in GTA.

The Guru Team also found assets for a chest and a note along with references to Boles Overland Stagecoach Co. seen in trailers for RDR2. The message claims that players will need to complete a scavenger hunt to find the six-shooter and then take photos at various places. There is no indication of when Rockstar might announce these features via Gamespot.
