Ghost Recon Wildlands Getting Predator Movie Monster in Free DLC

GET TO DA CHOPPA! Fans of ’80s Arnold flicks will have very good memories of Arnie and crew in the film Predator. That movie is one of the most iconic sci-fi/horror films to come out of the ’80s and if you own Ghost Recon Wildlands a new event is coming that will have players hunting the hunter from another star.

The game will see players either alone or with up to four other players in co-op mode hunting the Predator and being hunted right back. Players who can kill the Predator will get a Predator mask with Predator vision. A Predator pack from the in-game store is offered with 15 new customization items that are inspired by the movie.

That pack includes weapons and a new close combat move. Ghost War will also get Predator-inspired items including a new soldier inspired by Dutch, Arnold’s character from the film. The special event that will see The Predator coming to the game runs December 14 through early January.

“At Ubisoft Paris, we have been fans of the Predator for a long time and are thrilled to bring such an iconic character to our game,” said Nouredine Abboud, senior producer at Ubisoft. “The challenge is full of references to the original Predator movie, and we cannot wait to see the reaction of our players!”
