NVIDIA Announces The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Video Card At $449

NVIDIA today unveiled the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card for what will likely be the final model for the Pascal GPU powered discrete graphics card series. This new card fills in the performance gap between the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 ($499) and GeForce GTX 1070 ($379) GPUs at the $449 price point. The new GeForce GTX 1070 Ti will be available worldwide on November 2, with pre-orders starting today. Just in time for holiday sales and you know this card will easily play popular game titles like Destiny 2, Shadows of War, Star Wars Battlefront II and PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti features 2,432 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 8Gbps for a total bandwidth of 256 GB/s. NVIDIA claims that this model offers double the performance of the legendary GeForce GTX 970 and is an overclocking monster with plenty of headroom. The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is a 180W TDP card with one 8-pin power connector located along the top edge of the dual-slot card. NVIDIA recommends one 500W or greater power supply for this model.
