Gigabyte MZ31-AR0 Motherboard Released For AMD EPYC 7000 Processors
AMD launched their EPYC 7000 processor series last week and a number of server boards have started to pop up from various board makers. AMD let the world know that they were looking to dominate the one socket server market, so we were really excited to see those boards coming to market so soon.
One of the first single socket server/workstation boards would be the Gigabyte MX31-AR0. This board supports the AMD EPYC 7000 series processor family and has 8-channel DDR4 support with room for up to 16 DIMM slots. The Gigabyte MX31-AR0 motherboard uses the E-ATX form factor (305 mm x 330 mm) and should support future generations of AMD EPYC processors if all goes as planned. No word on pricing just yet, but we can’t wait to find out what that will be!
