EVGA Announces GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid

By

EVGA has confirmed the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid with iCX Technology. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 is based on the original SC2 design with additional improvements. The PCB is improved with 6+8-pin power connectors. The iCX Technology offers the hybrid bundle liquid cooling along with heatsink to cool the memory and VRM. In addition, the iCX Technology gives the GPU impressive cooling temps and is said to halve the GPU load temperatures. The liquid cooler features a 120mm radiator and fan. The copper base used is dedicated for the GPU, designed to give the best temps possible for the video card. Furthermore, the EVGA dedicated memory plate makes direct contact with the water cooling block to give the lowest memory temperatures possible. The VRMs also allow users to maximize their GPU performance without dangerous temperatures.
