ASUS Unveils Portable Monitor and 10G Network Switch

ASUS is showing off what they are calling the worlds 15.6-inch portable companion monitor. The MB169C+ is a monitor that uses a single USB Type-C connection for both power and video transmission from a host device. The Legit Reviews team is currently on the floor of CES 2016 in Las Vegas and got to see this portable monitor up close and personal. The MB169C+ is designed to be lightweight weighing in at just 800g with a very slim 8.5mm profile thickness. ASUS has designed the monitor to be a fully functional HD IPS panel delivering 1920×1080 resolution with top of the line color reproduction.

Another very interesting item that ASUS had on hand was their XG-D2008 10-Gigabit (10G) network switch. This enterprise-level switch is specifically designed for gaming, home office, and small business use. Like most switches, the XG-D2008 has easy plug-and-play installation and features 10G RJ-45 ports that make it backwards compatible with your existing network devices. Combined with the ASUS add-in 10G card, enthusiasts and gamers should have access to unprecedented data transfer and bandwidth for LAN gaming.
