Las Vegas, USA (5th January, 2016) ASUS today showcases its latest line-up of gaming motherboards, displays, desktops, laptops, and peripherals at the 2016 International CES. Making their debut at CES are three brand-new gaming motherboards with Aura RGB lighting for more flexible color and customization options ROG Maximus VIII Formula, ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura, and B150I Pro Gaming/Wi-Fi/Aura. ROG Maximus VIII Formula is a Z170 Express chipset-based ATX gaming motherboard with exclusive CrossChill EK cooling. ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura is the worlds first AMD 970+SB950 chipset-based ATX gaming motherboard with official NVIDIA SLI certification. ASUS B150I Pro Gaming/Wi-Fi/Aura is an Intel-based mini-ITX motherboard that features advanced Aura lighting with ASUS exclusive gaming-grade audio and networking.
Also displayed for the first time are the MG 4K Series gaming monitors, the ROG GT51 gaming desktop, and the ROG XG Station 2. The 28- and 24-inch MG 4K gaming monitors feature 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution visuals, a rapid 1ms response time to eliminate motion blur (MG28UQ), an IPS panel to deliver vibrant colors (MG24UQ), and VESA Adaptive-Sync support for smooth gameplay. ROG GT51 is powered by the 6th-generation Intel Core i7-6700K processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X (2-way SLI) for 4K-resolution gaming on three displays. ROG XG2 external graphics docking station has a proprietary circuit design that lets notebooks harness the power of desktop graphics cards for a significant boost in visual performance, and it is compatible with ASUS GeForce and Radeon graphics cards.
Other products on display in the ASUS Media Lounge are the ROG Swift PG348Q display, ROG G752 and GX700 gaming laptops, ROG Claymore mechanical gaming keyboard, and the soon-to-be-released ROG Spatha wireless/wired gaming mouse.

ROG Maximus VIII Formula motherboard
ROG Maximus VIII Formula is a Z170 Express chipset-based ATX gaming motherboard with an innovative cooling design that features the exclusive CrossChill EK. ROG teamed up with EK Water Blocks to develop this extreme-performance cooling block that has a high-conductivity copper channel for very quiet and cool air or liquid-cooled custom builds. During internal product tests with a liquid cooling system, CrossChill EK reduced MOSFET temperatures by up to 23C.
Maximus VIII Formula features the all-new Aura LED illumination and laser-engraved durable ROG Armor. The customizable Aura LED effects and built-in RGB-header let users create PC builds with their own feel via the external LED strips and preset breathing, color-strobe, or color-cycling modes. They even have the option of using colors to indicate CPU temperature or pulsate in time to the beat of their favorite music.

ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura motherboard
The AMD 970+SB950 chipset-based ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura motherboard is the worlds first AMD 970 motherboard that has been officially certified by NVIDIA to offer SLI support, and features Aura RGB LEDs for users to create a customizable look and feel for their PC build. It features gaming-grade SupremeFX and Sonic Radar II audio, as well as Intel Gigabit Ethernet with ASUS LANGuard and GameFirst technologies for fast, safe, and lag-free networking. ASUS MG 4K Series monitors

ROG GT51, winner of a 2016 CES Innovation Award in the Gaming and Virtual Reality category, is powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core i7-6700K processor and supports up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X (2-way SLI) for the performance to run games across three 4K monitors. ROG Turbo Gear lets users maximize GT51s full overclocking potential with just one click, while the ASUS-exclusive Aegis II application helps monitor system parameters. In addition, a USB 3.1 Type-C port on its front panel provides data transmission speeds of up to 10Gbps and is able to quick-charge mobile devices. GT51 features the exclusive ROG Band to let users activate Shadow Drive a hidden hard drive space or overclock GT51 as well.
GT51 has an internal cooling system with a dedicated air tunnel that takes advantage of natural convection to ensure efficient heat management during marathon gaming sessions. This docking station also helps charge the laptop, so users can do away with the latters power adapter. Its easy to hook up as well, and can be unplugged without restarting the laptop.
ROG Claymore mechanical gaming keyboard
ROG Claymore is a gaming keyboard with Cherry MX RGB mechanical switches (Red, Blue, Brown, and Black options) and a detachable numeric keypad with macro functions to give users flexible placement options. This backlit keyboard features customizable keys with RGB lighting and N-key Rollover technology. It can be synced to ROG motherboards, with hotkeys allowing users to control fan speed, boot up, CPU and memory overclocking, and BIOS access. ROG Claymore has a durable aluminum-alloy frame with Mayan-inspired detailing for a premium look.
ROG Spatha wireless/wired gaming mouse
The soon-to-be-released ROG Spatha is a 8200 DPI laser gaming mouse crafted for MMO glory. It has a magnesium-alloy chassis and features a total of 12 programmable buttons, including six ergonomic thumb buttons. Its left and right buttons feature an easy-upgrade switch socket design for customizable click feel, with Omron switches giving users a 20-million-click lifespan.
