MSI X99A GODLIKE GAMING Motherboard Has RGB Lights
MSI announced a super high-end Intel X99 motherboard called the X99A GODLIKE GAMING motherboard earlier this week at COMPUTEX, but didn’t have any pictures of the boldly named motherboard. You might think that overclocking or a feature along those lines would be what MSI is touting, but it isn’t. MSI is very proud of the fact that the X99A GODLIKE GAMING is worlds first RGB LED motherboard. No joke, this board has a bunch of programmable RGB LED lights on it that support over 2,000 colors and come with a number of presets that you can use right off the bat. The lighting presets include breathing, flashing and waving. The official name of the lighting feature is ‘MYSTIC LIGHT’ and you can see it in action for a few seconds in the video trailer released by MSI this week. The LED light effects are controller be either the MSI Gaming APP on your PC or with the Mystic Light APP on Android mobile devices.
MSI is also touting that this board has impressive audio thanks to Audio Boost 3 PRO technology that delivers crystal clear sound quality and lossless audio compression. So, the Godlike board has all sorts of blinky lights and improved audio performance. The good news is that it also sports Killer DoubleShot-X3 PRO (Wireless AC-1535) for up to 2,867Gbps of network bandwidth, a Turbo M.2 PCIe SSD slot, SATA Express and SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1. Pricing is unknown, but who cares as how can you put a price tag on something Godlike?
