BlizzCon 2014 Starts Today – Pay Per View Event Available For Those At Home
Are you ready for BlizzCon 2014?? Today marks the return of one of the largest gaming conventions in the world BlizzCon 2014 which is Blizzard Entertainments 2-day lovefest celebrating their biggest gaming franchises. Held in Anaheim, California, right across the street of Disneyland Park Resort, fans of Warcraft, StarCraft,a nd Diablo universes will be the first to hear, see, and play the latest from Blizzard.
This years show features a wide variety of activities including tournaments, giveaways, discussion panels, and hands-on playtime. Tickets for BlizzCon 2014 went on sale earlier this summer for $199 each and sold out in minutes. If you werent one of the thousands to grab your ticket, Blizzard is also selling a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket. Priced at $39.99, the Virtual Ticket gives you wall-to-wall coverage of BlizzCon 2014 with live online coverage of both days including the community contests hosted by Chris Hardwick on Friday night and Metallicas concert on Saturday.
Along with Blizzards Virtual Ticket, DIRECTV customers in the U.S. have the option to watch the show from their living room by ordering the BlizzCon 2014 Pay Per View event. There has been much speculation as to what will be the new thing that Blizzard will be announcing this year. The run up to this years BlizzCon has been relatively quiet and when you look at the BlizzCon line up, it seems as if its relatively mild compared to years past. Rumored to be featured includes a new Legacy of the Void StarCraft expansion; A Diablo Reaper of Souls tweak or addition; maybe even a World of Warcraft Expansion or Warcraft 4 game being announced.
