By installing the Smartvue app within the apps feature of the My Cloud dashboard, the My Cloud EX products convert into a powerful video surveillance system capable of supporting up to eight cameras from one web portal.1 In addition, the Smartvue mobile app, available for iOS and Android mobile devices, provides viewing and management of camera footage recorded on the My Cloud EX products, as well as remote monitoring of live feeds from the cameras. The Smartvue surveillance app also allows users to set automated alerts, motion detection, recording schedules and more. With support for hundreds of leading IP cameras, My Cloud EX and Smartvue users have plenty of quality options for setting up their surveillance system.
