Canadian Galaxy S III Owners Getting Android 4.1 on December 3rd

By

Samsung announced this week on Twitter that they will be pushing out the official Android 4.1 JellyBean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III on Monday, 3rd December. This Canadian roll out could potentially serve as a good indicator that those in the United States may be seeing a similar update in the near future. Samsung’s Galaxy S III smatphone has begun updating to version 4.1.1 of Android, affectionately known as Jelly Bean since October. I’m not sure why it takes 2-3 months to roll out the update worldwide, but an official build is still coming! How many Verizon and AT&T customers wish they could defect to Canada right about now?
