PoV & TGT Releases Free TGT BigBang NVIDIA Tuning Utility

By

Graphics card manufacturer Point of View together with NVIDIA performance tuning specialists TGT have today released their BigBang tuning utility for all Fermi (GTS 450 or faster) and Kepler-based graphics cards.

Supporting up to 8 GPUs, the utility can set the base clock and memory clock. Additionally, it also allows the power target to be increased, providing temperature and fan readouts to help monitor that the card stays within safe limits when trying out new settings. The utility also has comprehensive support for the boost clock feature in Kepler based GPUs:

“To optimize the performance, one of the most striking features of Kepler GPUs (GTX 660 and upwards) is auto overclocking. TGT BigBangTM measures the actual clock continuously and calculates both, the actual average clock, the distribution of the various clocks, and the percentage of time running faster than boost clock. TGT BigBangTM also demonstrates that TGT’s LOW LEAKAGE SELECTION products run faster by means of auto overclocking. TGT BigBangTM also measures the clocks in the background (3D Mark 11).”

Finally, the utility offers a “Bright Boost” option that allows for 6 difference custom gamma settings to be set and remembered to help enhance the visual quality of games. The software can be downloaded for free at the link below.

Today please download our first release 1.0.1 compatible up to GeForce driver version 3.10. For upcoming GeForce drivers an updated version of TGT BigBangTM will be available on our web site
