By

GIGABYTE today launched their latest overclocking powerhouse Z77X-UP7 motherboard, featuring the industrys most robust 32+3+2 power design with Ultra Durable 5 high current capable components including 60A rated IR3550 PowIRstages chips from IR. With the industrys highest phase count, the Z77X-UP7 motherboard is able to share the workload between 32 phases, ensuring lower working temperatures and maximum CPU power delivery. GIGABYTE was able to overclock an Intel Core i7-3770K processor up to an impressive 7102MHz using this motherboard, so it appears that this board is overclocking friendly and all those power phases aren’t just for marketing hype. The Gigabyte Z77X-UP7 motherboard is able to deliver an astonishing 2,000W of power, so maybe it isn’t all needed! We looked around and couldn’t find the Gigabyte Z77X-UP7 motherboard for sale in the United States and the press release did not mention the MSRP of the mainboard.
