Microsoft Patch Tuesday: 26 Vulnerabilities Fixed

By

Microsoft’s ‘Patch Tuesday’ has come round this month in the form of the August 2012 security bulletin, where Microsoft details fixes for 26 Critical and Important vulnerabilities in multiple software products. These cover Windows, Internet Explorer, Exchange, SQL Server and Office. As usual, some of these vulnerabilities will allow an attacker to take over the system, some of which have already been exploited to a limited extent. Get the fixes in the usual way by running Windows Update as soon as possible. The link below gives full details of all the fixes.

Microsoft is hosting a webcast to address customer questions on these bulletins on August 15, 2012, at 11:00 AM Pacific Time (US & Canada). Register now for the August Security Bulletin Webcast. After this date, this webcast is available on-demand. For more information, see Microsoft Security Bulletin Summaries and Webcasts.
