NVIDIA GTX 660 Ti Goes On Sale Early At Best Buy For $299

By

The NVIDIA GTX 660 Ti is due to tbe released on August 16, however it’s been spotted for sale on the shelves of Best Buy several days early. Presumably Best Buy are doing this to get the jump on other retailers and sell a few more cards, which isn’t surprising really since they’re not doing that well at the moment.

The card is a reference design, with a sticker price of $299, slightly higher than the HD 7870 that it competes with. The card features 2GB GDDR5 memory and is based on the Kepler GK104-300-KD-A2 GPU, which has 1344 CUDA cores, 112 TMUs and 24 ROPs. Performance is worse than a GTX 670 or HD 7950 due to the cut down 192-bit memory bus.
