Microsoft Announces New Mice and Keyboards Designed for Windows 8

Microsoft has brought out a range of accessories to go with its upcoming Surface tablet and Windows 8, both of which will go on sale to the general public on October 26. Conveniently, all of the featured accessories are Bluetooth enabled to eliminate wires. First up is the ultra compact Wedge Touch Mouse which is small enough to fit in a pocket and features BlueTrak technology which allows it to work on virtually any surface. Estimated retail price: $69.95


Then we have the Wedge mobile keyboard, bringing a full-size keyboard in a compact form factor to tablet PCs. Estimated retail price: $79.95


Next up, we have the Sculpt Touch Mouse featuring a four way scroll strip, “with a four-way touch scroll strip, you can breeze up and down, left and right, and through applications and documents with a simple finger swipe, making it great for navigating the Windows 8 Start screen”. Estimated retail price: $49.95


Finally, we have the Touch Mouse with updated functionality specifically designed for Windows 8 with new gesture settings to easily navigate the new UI. Estimated retail price: $79.95
