Intel Solid-State Drive 730 Series Has Black Light Easter Egg
By
What happens when you take an ultraviolet light or black light to an Intel Solid-State Drive 730 series product? The Intel SSD 730 drives have the familiar skull logo that we have seen on high-end enthusiast products since the Intel D5400XS Skulltrail motherboard that was first shown in 2007. We learned today that the label on the front of the Intel SSD 730 series is ultraviolet reactive and an Intel logo appears when UV-A light hits the drive. The logo is pretty subtle, but it is something fun that Intel added to this performance oriented SSD. Here are a couple pictures of the Intel logo that can only be seen with a black light.
