Battlefield 3 Premium Details Leak: Service Launches June 4

By

Leaked information about the upcoming Battlefield 3 Premium service from Electronic Arts has gotten somewhat more official looking, after a fact sheet leaked out and was then quickly pulled. The service has a one time membership cost of $49.99 / 49.99Euro / 4000 Microsoft points, which gives the subscriber access to things like all five expansion packs (includes two weeks early access to the upcoming expansion packs, too) along with a “a host of unique in-game items not available anywhere else”. Other things include the ability to reset stats and faster access to servers. The Premium service is expected to launch on June 4, together with the “Close Quarters” DLC on PC, Xbox 360 & PS3. This subscription seems quite pricey, so should make EA & developer DICE quite a bit of money out of their Battlefield 3 fans. Nice.

EA: “Looks like the excitement for Battlefield Premium cannot be contained. For details, please visit Battlefield.com on June 4.”
