VIA Happy Taipei City 2014 App brings the party to the people at TVBS New Years Eve extravaganza
Taipei, Taiwan, 30 December, 2013 – VIA Technologies, Inc, today announced that VIA will unveil VIA AirTalk at the 2014 Happy Taipei City event hosted by TVBS at the foot of Taipei 101. Three quarters of a million people are expected to be on hand with a further three and a half million from around the island watching the program on TV.
The New Years Eve celebration includes a stellar list of Taiwans top recording artists including S.H.E., David Tao, and Rainie Yang, as well as Japanese super idol Masaharu Fukuyama. By installing the VIA Happy Taipei City App on a smartphone, people in the crowd will be able to receive real-time content broadcast by VIA AirTalk including song lyrics to sing along with the performers, a New Years countdown clock, and a special feature which will transform their smartphones into flashing glow sticks to add more color to the festivities.
