Microsoft Releases Monthly Security Patches for May

By

As we previously reported, Microsoft have now issued their seven security patches as part of their monthly release cycle, with three of them being rated as Critical and four as Important.

The Critical faults all allow remote code execution and are fixed by update 2680352 for Word; 2681578 a combined update for Office, Windows, .NET and Silverlight and 2693777, an update for .NET only. Users should install these seven patches, available from Microsoft Update, as soon as possible to remain protected. Full details are available at the Microsoft link below.

Microsoft is hosting a webcast to address customer questions on these bulletins on May 9, 2012, at 11:00 AM Pacific Time (US & Canada). Register now for the May Security Bulletin Webcast.
