Alienware Orders for M14x, M17x and M18x Laptops Upgraded From SB to IB For Free

Some Alienware laptop customers are going to be very happy with the customer service they are receiving, as open orders for laptop models M14x, M17x and M18x placed before last month’s refresh, will be upgraded from Sandy Bridge CPUs to the equivalent Ivy Bridge CPUs for free. What’s more, the orders won’t even be delayed. Alienware is now a brand of Dell, who advised that this offer is only available to Alienware products.
Update: Origin PC just reached out to us to let us know it has also been upgrading all outstanding Sandy Bridge orders to Ivy Bridge, free of charge.
