HP Announces Six Ivy Bridge PCs, Starting at $699

HP today announced six new Ivy Bridge desktops to be released soon. Three of these are in the all-in-one form factor, will feature quad core CPUs and be available directly from HP from April 29. The first all-in-one is the Omni 220qd featuring Beats Audio and starts at $999. Second is the Omni 27qd with a 27 inch display which costs $1199 and thirdly is the TouchSmart 520xt, which has a 23 inch touch display and costs $999.

The remaining three are more conventional desktop PCs, starting with the HPE h8t at $699 and for more processing power, the HPE h8xt at $799. For those who want lots of processing power for gaming and video editing, HP have the HPE Phoenix h9t, costing $1149. Note that of these three, only the HPE Phoenix h9t is available from retailers on April 29. The other five models will be released to retailers on June 24. Prices courtesy of Engadget.
