HTC To Launch UK’s First Quad Core Smartphone This Week

By

Sliding in just before Easter, HTC will introduce their iPhone 4S competitor, the HTC One X phone on April 5th. Based around NVIDIA’s quad core Tegra 3 chipset, this phone will be the first to sport 4 CPU cores in the UK. “Sporting a booming Beats sound, a large 7in HD 720p display, 1GB of RAM and not forgetting a scoop of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the HTC One X is odds on to be a developer favourite.” The phone will be available on the Orange, Vodafone, T-mobile and O2 networks.

This model will also have a little brother, the HTC One S, available at the same time. This model will feature a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon chipset, a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display and Android 4.0.

T-Mobile, Vodafone and Orange will all be offering the HTC One X available free on a 41 per month, 24 month plan, and the HTC One S will be free on a 36 per month, 24 month plan. O2 is yet to set prices on these HTC handsets, but we’re guessing it will probably be the same as its competitors.
