takeMS Announces UTX-2200 Solid State Drive w/ SandForce SF-2281

German memory maker takeMS announced the companies very first Solid State Drive today! The takeMS UTX-2200 series uses the popular SandForce SF-2281 controller and is available in sized of 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB. takeMS says the UTX-2200 series has sequential read speeds of up to 550MB/s and write speeds of up to 500MB/s. Pricing details were not released.
