By

Apple CEO Tim Cook and a gang of other company executives unveiled updated versions of the iPad tablet and Apple TV in Apple’s event in San Francisco today. The new iPad and Apple TV will hit the streets on March 16 but potential users can pre-order the iPad today for $499 (Wi-Fi) – which is the same as the original iPad and iPad 2. The New iPad comes with five key new features including a higher-resolution display (2048×1536), 1080p Video Recording, Voice Dictation, 4G LTE, and 5-megapixel iSight Camera. Many were expecting more from Apple, but those who aren’t terribly impressed with the new iPad will no doubt appreciate the news that the current iPad 2 will have its price cut to $399 for the Wi-Fi version and $529 for the 3G version.
