ASUS Reveals Intel 7 Series-Based Motherboards at 2012 Global Seminars

For a while now, ASUS has been hosting a series of Global Seminars where they have been socializing several new technologies all coming to ASUS motherboards that will use the Intel 7 chipset. At the latest seminar, we saw the new ROG branded motherboards in the ATX Maximus V GENE as well as the ruggedized ASUS TUF SABERTOOTH Z77. Some of the most eye-opening technology that we have seen has been included in these builds such as ASUS’s SMART DIGI+ Power control, ASUS Wi-Fi Go!, and the general inclusion of advancements that the Intel 7 series chipset will offer like Rapid Start and native PCI-E 3.0. It is always good to see companies pushing the edge of technology, and ASUS is really making a case for global leaders with their next-generation hardware.

The Maximus V GENE comes with SupremeFX III audio and network traffic management via Intel Ethernet and ASUS GameFirst technology, affording smoother and more immersive gameplay. Meanwhile, the SABERTOOTH Z77 features Thermal Armor for precision cooling and unsurpassed reliability. In addition to these boards, the ASUS 7 Series caters to a wide range of computing segments, including workstation models with 4-way GeForce SLI and dual Intel Ethernet. Multimedia-focused and energy efficient mini-ITX and H77 motherboards further extend new ASUS and Intel technologies into the home theater PC sector.
