By

Arctic thinks that they can offer a better CPU cooler than the AMD retail boxed cooler for under $15. The companies new Alpine 64 PLUS CPU Cooler is said offer improved cooling performance and a lower noise level! The key to the coolers success is the larger 92mm PWM-controlled fan that better cools the AMD CPU. Furthermore, the Alpine 64 PLUS comes with pre-applied Arctic Cooling MX-4 thermal compound and a transport-proof (idiot-proof) mounting system for quick installation and maximum user-friendliness. The maximum cooling capacity of the Alpine 64 PLUS is 100 Watts, so if you own a processor like the FX-8150 (125W) you better keep on looking!
