ViewSonic is apparently planning to launch their Windows 8-based tablets PCs in the second quarter of 2012. Max Liu, product marketing director at ViewSonic Asia Pacific, has stated the Windows 8 model will use a 10-inch display sporting a high resolution, and will help fill out ViewSonic’s complete lineup of tablet PCs. Currently there is no information available as to what platform (ARM or x86) ViewSonic plans to use. More information on the tablet’s specifications should be available at Computex later this year.
