Google Announces Chrome For Android Beta

By

Google has finally introduced a version of their popular Chrome browser for Android devices! Chrome for Android Beta is now available from Android Market, but only in select countries and languages for phones or tablets that are running Android 4.0 ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ right now.

The most interesting new feature for us is that Chrome for Android has seamless integration with the regular version of Chrome that is on your laptop, PC or Mac. Chrome for Android synchronizes seamlessly with your desktop browser. That means using Chrome on your Android phone or tablet becomes an extension of the browsing you do on your PC or laptop. Once you Sign in to Chrome for Android you’ll be able to view the tabs you left open on your computer – so long as you are signed in to Chrome on your PC or laptop. This is a great feature and an easy way to pick up where you left off!

With Chrome for Android, you can search, navigate and browse fastChrome fast. You can scroll through web pages as quickly as you can flick your finger. When searching, your top search results are loaded in the background as you type so pages appear instantly. And of course, both search and navigation can all be done quickly from the Chrome omnibox.
