MSI Announces 10-inch Wind U180 Netbook

By

If you thought netbooks were dead, it looks like you have been proven wrong. MSI has unveiled the Wind U180, which is the companies first new netbook model for 2012. MSI is calling the Wind U180 an ultra thin, ultra light netbook as they are trying to ride the ultra thin form factor craze that everyone is infected with. The Wind U180 is powered by either an Intel Atom ‘Cedar Trail’ Processor N2800 (1.86GHZ) or N2600 1.6 GHZ). MSI says the WInd U180 has twice the processing and display performance of the previous generation netbook as well as eight hours of battery power. Will this 10-inch (1024 x 600 resolution) netbook help prove to the world that netbooks still have a heartbeat? Time will tell, but for the love of God, can you stop using 0.3 MP webcams? It’s not really that expensive to update the camera!
