CES 2012: ECS Z77H2-AX Black Extreme Motherboard Spotted

ECS is on hand here at CES 2012 and they are showing off a couple of their upcoming Intel Z77 chipset motherboards. The picture below is the ECS Z77H2-AX Black Extreme motherboard. It is part of their Black Extreme series. Looking at the board there a few things that we noticed right off the bat. Down by the SATA parts they have a mSATA port which can be used for an mSATA SSD, we are seeing this on a number of Intel Z77 motherboards. The ECS Z77H2-AX features three PCIe x16 Gen 3 expansion slots, two PCI slots and two PCIe x1 slots. Another feature that we noticed, or didn’t notice I should say, is the I/O panel. The ECS Z77H2-AX only has a VGA port and a HDMI port. If they are planning on only two video ports, I would like to see DVI instead of the the 15pin D-Sub VGA port.
