Intel Fakes CES 2012 Ultrabook Demo

Well this is embarrassing. Intel was ostensibly going to show off DX11 on an Ivy Bridge equipped ultrabook with a racing game. Turns out that “game” was no game at all but a video of a game which still had a few hiccups getting started. After faking his way through it a bit, the presenter realized the facade had crumbled and finally admits it was all a charade. Hello face, meet egg.
