CES 2012: Dish Network Introduces Whole-Home HD DVR System

Dish Network L.L.C the third largest pay TV provider has introduced a whole-home high definition DVR entertainment system at CES. The new system makes use of the award winning Hopper HD DVR with accompanying small Joey set-top box. The two devices let DISH customers record pause and play back shows from any room in there home. The Hopper unit includes three satellite tv tuners a two-terabyte hard drive with picture in picture and bluetooth support powered by a Broadcom 750MHz processor. Pricing and packaging will be announced later this quarter.
