Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 at CES Unveiled 2012

Parrot has come out with version 2.0 of their AR.Drone. This time they added an HD camera and a number of other features for taking aerial images and video while flying with your smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi. The HD Camera is also able to use augmented reality by recognizing shapes and displaying additional data on your smartphone or tablet. Parrot AR.Drone 2.0

The Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 was seen flying around CES Unvieled, so we had to stop by the booth and take a look at the latest quadracopter. The mechanics of the machine havent changed much with this iteration, but we were told that the optics and software have both received a major overhaul. The price of this new gadget is supposed to be $299 when it ships in Q2, 2012.
