Havok Brings Autodesk Gameware Technology to Vision Engine
Havok recently announced a license agreement with Autodesk, Inc. The agreement enables Havok to offer a new version of the Havok Vision Engine that integrates the full functionality of Autodesk Scaleform and Autodesk Beast middleware. The integration of Scaleform and Beast with Havoks Vision Engine enhances its current flexible toolset with new user interface (UI) and global illumination functionalities.
We are delighted to announce this license arrangement, said David Coghlan, Managing Director of Havok. We have seen extensive use of Scaleform and Beast across our Vision Engine clients and a strong interest in a tighter integration between our technologies. This Vision Engine bundle, which also includes Havok Physics and Havok AI, has become our standard Vision offering, extending the reach of both companies technologies across new geographies and market segments.
