Seagate to Update GoFlex Satellite Firmware

Seagate notified us that they listen to the user community and while revision one of their firmware was slanted to a great video streaming experience the audio portion was a bit lacking. While we loved this product, this is in line with what we said could be improved upon during our review. Seagate gave us an early look at the new firmware and it appears to significantly improve the audio experience with sought after features such as playing audio in the background and cover art display. Look for an update to the review when we get our hands on the firmware in the last half of October.
